Social causes provide plenty of rewards.

Altruism can be habit-forming. We’re kind of addicted. We, the people behind Pure, enjoy giving back to the global community. Pure believes in feeding people with nature’s bounty, but we also believe in providing nourishment for the planet itself.

For instance, we like trees and we want to keep them around. They’re beautiful, natural air purifiers that just torment us with their inviting shade. So we launched the Buy-3/Plant-a-Tree effort. We plant one tree every time a customer buys three Pure Bars.

We also teamed up with the Celiac Disease Foundation. We make a gluten-free snack, so we thought it was important to promote healthy, delicious dietary choices by supporting an organization that aids people who struggle with gluten intolerance.
